Hunting Safari
Wild Africa Tours would like to take this opportunity to stress that we do not condone “Canned” hunting, nor do we participate in any form of canned hunts. We do understand the value of hunting on bona-fide Game farms and therefore the part that hunting plays in the conservation process. Quotes are tailored according to your requirements.

Due to the unpredictable nature of hunting safaris, we would like to bring the following important points to your attention (
Animal prices /
Taxidermy prices at bottom of page):
- Decide which animal you would like to hunt. Each private game farm has certain species available, and they have designated numbers of each of those species. It may be that we have to travel quite far in order for you to be allowed to hunt the animal of your choice.
- Contact Wild Africa Tours and tell us what animal you would like to shoot, please do not request any endangered species!
- Once we have established which Game Farm has an allocation of that particular species, we can then get back to you and discuss your tour.
- Decide on how long you are prepared to stay – some hunts can take days and days!
- Decide if you would like to take part in some other activities (look at our “What to do” page), also decide if you’d like hunt before or after the additional activities.
- We will advise you of the cost of the particular animal/s you wish to hunt once the Game farm owner has advised us.
- No animal is guaranteed – hunting requires patience, discipline and endurance. Should you not be able to secure an animal during the hunt, Wild Africa Tours, nor any of it’s associates, staff, members or managers take any responsibility. In the same breath, should the hunt be unsuccessful, no animals will be charged for! The only thing you will have paid for is the trip, accommodation, meals and drinks.
- Should you wound an animal and be unable to track it, you will still be required to pay for the animal.
- All clothing to be worn when hunting should be bush green or camouflage.
- All taxidermy and shipping of trophies, skins, horns, etc, will be quoted on a successful hunt, we would like to mention that this could take up to 18 months – professional taxidermy cannot be rushed!
- We look forward to tailoring your Hunting Trip which will in turn assist in conservation in South Africa!
