Wildlife & Adventure

Day one of all tours consists of a 'welcome evening' of drinks and a typical South African meal on arrival at our base in Marloth Park... and then your tour begins! We have listed below the things you’ll be doing during your visit with us, although, not necessarily in this order (click here to discover):

We would like to take some time and introduce you to the African bush - so we’ll take a stroll along the fence of the Kruger Park with your professional and knowledgeable guide who will point out all sorts of interesting things, and will readily answer any questions you may have.
Wild Africa ToursBack at the lodge, over a few drinks and a light supper, we’ll discuss your itinerary for the rest of the week, and explain some of the activities you’ll be taking part in.
Wild Africa ToursSome of our activities will be in the scenic town of Hazyview, and we’ll travel to Hazyview via the Kruger National Park. Our guide will stop as often as is necessary to ensure he can point out all sorts of amazing things, animals, plants, trees, insects. You are welcome to take as many photos as you like. The Kruger Park is a fascinating place, and is the size of Wales! Even if you don’t encounter the Big 5, we guarantee you’ll have a wonderful 'Wild' experience!
One of the local villages will host an evening of 'African Entertainment' for us, which will guarantee to give you goose bumps! We’ll also join them for a traditional African supper - served African Style!
Wild Africa ToursThe adventure part starts here! Over the next couple of days we’ll be keeping you busy with some great adventure activities, including River Rafting, Zip-lining, abseiling, the 'Big Swing' (for the brave) or foefie slide (for the not so brave) - you can even do both! We’ll also have a 'war' on the Paintball field - the winning side gets to light our next bonfire! You’ll even get to pan for gold after being shown 'how' by the professionals.
Wild Africa ToursWe travel the Panorama route, taking in some of the most breathtaking countryside and views in Mpumalanga, Sudwala Caves, Gods Window, Bourkes Luck potholes, the Three Rondavels, and the historic town of Pilgrim’s Rest.
You will join a night drive into the Kruger National Park on an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle, an amazing experience and totally different at night!
Wild Africa ToursMoholoholo Sanctuary is also on our itinerary, as well as the Cheetah Breeding Project. You’ll see many endangered species up close, such as Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Ground Hornbill, and more. You’ll also be fascinated by the 'Vultures Restaurant'!
Wild Africa ToursThe Rhino was listed as an endangered species in Africa, but thanks to selfless conservation projects, their numbers are now increasing, they are fascinating animals - an early morning 'Bush Walk & Rhino Tracking Safari' will bring you closer than ever to this huge, fascinating ungulate. The slowest member will determine the pace - so don’t rush! We’ll locate fresh Rhino spoor in a 4 x 4 vehicle and then track the rhino on foot! The trip ends with a scrumptious bush breakfast prepared on an open fire in the lodges’ private boma.
Wild Africa ToursWe are lucky to be so near to so many different countries around us and a day trip to Swaziland will allow you to enjoy one of the best African Craft Markets. Here, you can barter to your hearts content for mementoes and gifts. We’ll also stop at the glass blowing factory and the Swazi Candle Factory - fascinating & entertaining - you can also purchase curios and gifts.
Wild Africa ToursBefore you blink, we’ll have reached the end of your tour, and of course we will host a 'Farewell' supper & drinks, we can exchange e-mail addresses, postal addresses, etc, and you’ll receive your CD, full of moments and memories that we’ll have captured along the way. We then return you to OR Tambo Airport safe and sound, and send you on your way with hopefully many, many memories and not too many tears!
